The Samshield Shield'Rup are safety stirrups that combine a patented side-opening system with an aeronautical aluminium design for a stable, natural connection with the horse.
In a fall, the side branch opens 180° to release the foot, then returns automatically to its initial position. The steel insert keeps the stirrup strong even when the branch is open. An off-centre stirrup bar makes it easier to recover a lost stirrup, the inclined platform helps keep the heel down, and an elastomer joint under the sole absorbs shocks to protect your joints. Two interchangeable soles are included: standard grip or extra grip with spikes.
