2. Biotine
Biotin is a water-soluble B-vitamin essential for the synthesis of keratin, which influences the structure, elasticity, and growth of the hoof horn, especially in horses with brittle or cracked hooves (Comben et al., 1984)2.
3. DL-Methionine
DL-Methionine is is a sulfur-containing amino acid necessary for the synthesis of keratin and the formation of disulfide bonds, and together with biotin, it supports the strength, flexibility, and structure of hoof tissue (Potgieter et al., 1991)3.
