A removable lining sits against the head, and an EPS foam inner shell absorbs shocks. Over that, a polycarbonate sheet is moulded directly onto the foam, with a tough thermoplastic outer shell on top. The temple protection covers the side of the head, which is one of the most vulnerable areas in a fall. It can be removed and refitted, and it's needed to connect the Freejump Intercom by Cardo.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe helmet weighs about 600 g with the temple protection. Two vents in the outer shell and 20 vents in the inner shell keep air moving.
